Restoration & Furnishing of the ‘PIDCOCK’-Thompson-Neely House
|
Newly refurbished Great room of Pidcock-Thompson-Neely House. The room is furnished to illustrate Anne Hawkes Hutton’s hypothesis that General Washington held his conference of war here and made the Decision to Cross the Delaware and attack the Hessian post in Trenton, NJ on Christmas night, 1776, thus giving the House its nickname “House of Decision”. Article from Daily Intelligencer, Tuesday, September 1, 1964. |
