Our 2013 Centennial reunion took place at the Captain James Moore Pavilion, Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, 1635 River Road, New Hope PA 18938. The pavilion is across from the Thompson-Neely House, which is part of Washington Crossing Historic Park in Bucks County. Family traditions say that John Pidcock built the original cabin and hearth in the early 1700s.

We shared a pot-luck picnic lunch with family association supplied hotdogs and Birthday cake
State Rep. Scott Petri (in yellow shirt) represents part of Washington Crossing Historic Park in the Pennsylvania Legislature. He told Pidcock Family members about short- and long-term challenges facing the park. Here he poses for a photo with Association President Lawrence Smith, left, and Centennial Reunion organizer John Moore. The three are holding a winter scene of the (Pidcock) Thompson-Neely House, which Karen Pidcock Price of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, will have until the 2014 reunion. The photographer at left is a freelancer who covered the reunion for the Bucks County Herald.
The next generation got to know each other through board and field games.
We ended the day with a visit to the graves of Revolutionary War soldiers who died during General Washington’s Bucks County encampment in December 1776. Presentation by members of Captain John Outwater’s Company of the New Jersey Militia.
